Terminal Restrictions and Limitatons
All vessel movements at Freeport LNG Terminal will require 2 Pilots, be handled on a per job basis, and be billed under "Special Services" agreement. A "One Time Waiver from Standard Operating Procedures" agreement must be signed 24 hours prior to arrival. Recommended Tugs: Three Tractor tugs with a minimum 60 ton bollard pull each. Vessels larger than 900 LOA will require 3 tractor tugs with minimum 80 ton bollard pull each. Tugs will come from Galveston Texas and are not stationed in Freeport Texas. Tugs will require a 48 Hour notice for all movements. Recommended Mooring: Will be determined on a per-vessel basis as outlined in the "One Time Waiver from Standard Operating Procedures" prior to movement
Terminal Security Requirements
Shore side gangway provided by Terminal. Storing / Landing Items requires a launch with a 24 hour written notice in advance. Crew changes are allowed Terminal provides own TWIC escort Vessel requirements The vessel should arrive at the pilot station with cargo deck lines cold and drained. Max cargo tank saturated vapor pressure not to exceed 1150. The ship will dock starboard side alongside the berth. The ship will discharge through 2 liquid arms. Prior to the ship¡¦s arrival at the berth, the Master should advise the terminal that the ship¡¦s staff has read the Marine Operations Manual which contains the terminal regulations. . During the inbound pilotage the crew should prepare the ship¡¦s gangway and pilot ladder on the port side, ready for deployment, as the pilot may want to disembark the ship to the pilot boat once securing of the mooring lines is progressing.
