The dredging of the Houston Ship Channel between beacons 66 and 72 has been completed. The 42’ restriction to Exxon has been lifted. The HSC is good for vessels with a draft fresh water of
45’ up to Exxon. The HSC from Exxon to Shell still has a 41’ draft restriction. The contract for this portion of the channel has been let and work should begin in the next few days.<span-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Southeast Texas..
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Cold temperatures will prevail today with a Hard Freeze Warning in
effect area-wide through 9 AM this morning. Although temperatures
will rise into the 40s this afternoon with wind chills near 40,
subfreezing temperatures are expected for most of the area again
tonight. Another Hard Freeze Warning may be required for portions
of the area.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday
A gradual warming trend will occur through the weekend. While
subfreezing temperatures could still occur across portions of the
area Thursday night and Friday night, hard freeze conditions are
not expected. By Sunday, forecast high temperatures are in the 60s
and 70s. A cold front will pass through the area around Monday,
knocking temperatures back into the 50s and 60s midweek.
