.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Mainly moderate east to southeast winds and slightly elevated seas
can be expected through Thursday morning. Winds and seas could come
down a little during the day on Thursday ahead of the next cold
front. This front and associated showers and thunderstorms will push
through the area Thursday afternoon and into the evening. Strong
and gusty north to northeast winds and rough seas developing in
its wake. Small craft advisories will be needed. Decreasing
northeast to east winds and lowering seas can be expected over the
weekend. Another strong cold front will move through the area on
Monday.
