.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Winds are beginning to relax, and will gradually diminish and be
less gusty through the morning. Winds and seas will continue to
diminish Friday Night as ridge of high pressure crosses the area.
Onshore flow returns on backside of surface ridge for the weekend
with winds and seas picking up again. Another cold front should
approach the area late in the weekend. Recent offshore flow will
keep low water levels in place across the bays with navigation
impacts at least through low tide times today. A Low Water Advisory
is in effect, and may need to be extended into Saturday.
