Houston, Galveston, Texas City, & Freeport, TX - Daily Port Update

Please see HSC – NOAA PORTS Water levels - below.  NOAA is advising Low Water Advisory through today.

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

High pressure gradually sliding away to the east will maintain

southerly - and perhaps even southeasterly - winds for some on

Saturday. The onshore flow will increase as low pressure develops

over North Texas. A weak cold front will cross the coastal waters

Sunday after sunrise with offshore winds developing on Sunday. Low

water will continue to hamper navigation in the upper reaches of

Galveston Bay through times of low tide today, but the general

trend will be one of improvement.
