.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

A light to moderate offshore flow will prevail today. Onshore

winds and increased rain chances are expected to return by

Wednesday as the next storm system approaches from the west.

Caution and or Advisory flags may be needed by Wednesday night as

the system moves into the Gulf waters. The cold front associated

with this system should move through the region late Thursday and

early Friday with moderate to strong offshore winds developing in

its wake.
