.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
A strong cold front will move through the area this morning. North to
northeast winds will strengthen and seas will build with the worst conditions
expected tonight through Friday morning with gale force wind gusts possible
off the coast. If possible, mariners should remain in port. Winds and
seas will begin to decrease Friday afternoon as high pressure settles
into the area. Light to moderate northeast winds Friday night become
east on Saturday and southeast to south on Saturday night and Sunday
as the high moves off to the east. The next cold front moves through
the area late Sunday night or early Monday morning.
