.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Weak onshore winds will become more easterly through the day over
low seas. The approach and passage of an easterly wave will slightly
pick up east to northeasterly winds, along with average sea heights,
through early next week. The movement of this wave into the western
Gulf will also increase early to mid-week areal offshore shower
and storm coverage.

40’00 FW at MLT. The length on the final approach from the Houston, Galveston, Texas City tri-channel split is approximately 6 miles, the width is approximately a 400 ft bottom, the Turning Basin is approximately 4,200 ft long and 1,200 ft wide with a maximum
deep draft of 45 ft FW at MLT, and is navigable day or night with no air draft restrictions. Only TX City Docks with 45’00” maximum deep draft at MLT are TC # 41, & 42
