.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
A weak cold front will move offshore this morning, with enhanced
winds in its wake diminishing rather quickly today. A second,
slightly stronger cold front looks to enter the region late Thursday
and reach the coast by Friday morning. Winds and seas will increase
behind the front, possibly necessitating caution flags in the
offshore waters. Precipitation chances with this passage will be
fairly low. Winds should shift back onshore by late Saturday before
another cold front approaches the area early next week.
