.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Moderate onshore flow and elevated seas will continue through the evening
hours ahead of an approaching cold front. Showers and isolated thunderstorms
will be possible before the front moves through the area. Offshore flow
is expected during the day on Thursday, but southeasterly winds quickly
return Thursday night and into Friday. Another cold front is expected
to move through the region Friday night resulting in moderate to strong
northeasterly winds to develop over the weekend.

The Texas City Ship Channel is approximately 11 miles from GB Buoy
