.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
A mostly light to moderate onshore flow is expected over the next
couple of days as high pressure remains situated over the western
Gulf. There will be isolated showers and thunderstorms creating
localized higher seas and gusty winds. Winds and seas increase by
the end of the week and on into the weekend as a potential
tropical cyclone develops in the northern Gulf. Mariners should
monitor the latest information from the National Hurricane Center.
