.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Moderate to strong northeast winds look to continue through mid-
as a reinforcing front moves into the coastal waters. As a result,
the previously issued caution flags have been continued through
the afternoon. Additionally, a Small Craft Advisory will be in
effect for the western Gulf waters from 9AM to 5PM today.
Additional caution flags and/or advisories are likely to be needed
through Wednesday. By Thursday, surface high pressure exits
eastward and an onshore flow pattern redevelops. The next cold
front is on track to approach the region over the weekend.
