.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
A light to moderate onshore flow is expected today. Some showers
and thunderstorms will develop as the day progresses mainly
associated with a cold front that will eventually move off the
coast and through the area. North to northeast winds behind the
front tonight and Wednesday will become east and southeast
Wednesday and Wednesday night. On Thursday, strengthening onshore
winds and building seas can be expected. The elevated winds and
seas will persist until the next cold front moves through the area
on Friday night or early Saturday morning. Showers and
thunderstorms will accompany this front.
