Elevated fire weather conditions are expected through Tuesday. Very
dry conditions are in place across the region with Monday
afternoon humidity between 10 and 25 percent with elevated wind
gusts at times that could support active fire growth. Winds
should rapidly diminish toward sunset.
Wind speeds will increase once again by mid Tuesday morning with
behind a reinforcing surge of dry air. However, with the cooler
temperatures, humidities look to bottom out between 25 and 35
percent...still quite dry.
