.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Moderate morning offshore southerlies as stronger higher level
winds mix down over warmer waters. More warm and moist flow over
relatively cooler nearshore and bay shelf waters keeps the
chances for sea fog alive over the next several evenings and
mornings. Today’s winds will weaken and turn easterly tomorrow in
response to a passing weak Central Plains cold front. An easterly
wind direction will be more favorable for fog development. Winds
turn more southerly Monday and will strengthen ahead of the next
mid week Plains front.
