.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Showers and thunderstorms will move through the Gulf waters this
morning as a cold front pushes through the area. A moderate
northeasterly flow that is expected to develop behind the front will
persist for most of the day today. A strengthening onshore flow
returns on Thursday and persists until the next cold front moves
through the area late Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will
accompany this front, mainly Friday afternoon through Saturday
morning. Northeast winds behind this front will persist through much
of the weekend.
