.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Weak low pressure over the western Gulf will move northeast today.
A strong cold front will cross the coastal waters on Friday as the
low continues to move east. Moderate to strong offshore winds
will develop in the wake of the front and persist into early
Saturday. Winds will relax on Saturday as high pressure builds
into Texas. Onshore winds will return by Saturday night as the
surface high drifts east of the region. Another cold front will
cross the coastal waters on Monday.
