.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
A strong onshore flow will persist this morning. The gradient
will relax and winds will diminish during the afternoon. A cold
front will push off the coast late this afternoon and evening
with strong northeast winds developing in the wake of the front.
Gradually decreasing northeast winds and lowering seas can be
expected Saturday night through Monday. Moderate southeast winds
return to the area on Monday night.
