Our Forecast <span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">
There has been little change in organization and Disturbance 22 will move inland overnight. Development chances remain around 20 percent, or a little less. Whether or not Disturbance 22 is classified as a tropical depression, the impacts will be the same. The potential for heavy rain will be the primary impact.

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">As most of the squalls are located north of the center. These squalls will be moving into the middle to upper Texas coast over the next 12-18 hours. The heaviest rainfall should be confined to the coastal counties near and north of Corpus Christi.

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Expected Impacts On Land <span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">
Middle Texas To Southwest Louisiana Coast: Scattered showers/thunderstorms over the next 24-36 hours. Several inches of rain could fall in some areas, but the threat for widespread heavy rainfall continues to diminish.
