.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Southerly to southeasterly winds near 20 knots today over the Gulf

waters and gusty in the bays. Moderate winds and seas will

continue into Wednesday then gradually slacken as gradient relaxes

and a weak cold front sags down into Southeast Texas on Thursday

leading to increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms over

the coastal waters. Easterly winds on tap Friday and lighter.
