.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Winds and seas continue to taper off early this morning, and while
some isolated spots may be near the threshold for caution flags
around dawn, it will not be for long, as more quiet conditions
with northeast winds prevail this morning. A very weak front is
expected to move across the waters Friday night, resulting in
winds backing to be more northerly through Saturday night. Winds
on Friday night may briefly be strong enough again to require
caution flags. Onshore flow resumes again Sunday into early next
week.
