.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Strengthening onshore winds and building seas can be expected
through Friday.
Some sea fog could develop tonight into Friday as
warm moist air deepens across the cooler shelf waters.
The next
cold front and associated showers and thunderstorms will push
through the area late Friday night through early Saturday morning.
Some storms may be severe with gusty winds. Moderate to strong
offshore winds can be expected behind the front on Saturday. An
onshore flow will gradually return to the area late in the weekend
and on into early next week.
