.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Look for rain to spread into the waters today and a chance of
thunderstorms tonight as the next weather system moves into the
area. Increasing onshore winds and building seas can be expected
through tonight. A cold front should push off the coast toward mid
morning Thursday with moderate northwest and north winds in its wake.
High pressure will quickly move off to the east and a moist onshore
flow should resume and increase by late Friday. A developing coastal
trough will provide another shot of showers and thunderstorms
Saturday night and Sunday.
