.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Inland surface high pressure expanding into the local waters has
tightened the offshore pressure gradient enough to briefly
increase early morning north easterlies to Caution. Onshore winds
will return tonight and strengthen to persistent Caution levels
from tomorrow afternoon through early Wednesday. The approach and
passage of a Wednesday frontal boundary will increase shower and
thunderstorm chances and leave Thursday with offshore breezes and
dry conditions.

The Texas City Ship Channel is approximately 11 miles from GB Buoy
