.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Expect moderate to strong offshore winds to taper off heading
into the morning, with wind speeds expected to drop below advisory
criteria in the bays around 7 AM and across the remainder of the
coastal waters by 10 AM. Winds should continue to diminish
gradually throughout the day today with all caution flags dropping
off by this evening. As a surface high moves off to the east,
expect a redevelopment of onshore winds by Thursday. Although
uncertainty still remains in the forecast, our next cold front
looks to approach the area over the weekend.
