Weather forecast as follows:
A line of showers and thunderstorms along the weak cold front will push well offshore early this morning ending the fog while turning winds from the south to the west in the wake of the front.
Westerly winds in the wake of the front will be short lived as weak high pressure drifts out over the waters tonight and allows onshore winds to return Thursday. The return of onshore winds and a slowly northward drifting warm front will probably bring
back widespread fog to the area by late Thursday. A stronger cold front should sweep across the area Saturday morning with a reinforcing surge of much colder air boosting winds higher on Sunday.
