.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
A weak southern Gulf low pressure center will continue on a
western track toward northern Mexico. This feature will tighten
the local water pressure gradient and strengthen north easterlies
through tomorrow. As this low approaches the northeastern Mexico
coast through mid-week, an increased swell will propagate into
our local waters and increase near term average significant sea
heights.

The Texas City Ship Channel is approximately 11 miles from GB Buoy
