.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Light winds and lower seas brought on by the presence of surface

high pressure over the northern Gulf should continue to persist

through the weekend. A moderate onshore flow pattern returns early

next week along with an increasing chance of diurnal shower and

thunderstorm development over the coastal waters. By midweek, winds

and seas are expected to increase.
