Nautical Miles Including Matagorda And Galveston Bays

Synopsis
Weak high pressure over Louisiana will move east this afternoon. A Pacific
cold front will move through the coastal waters tonight. Stronger
northerly winds will develop Friday as a surge of colder air arrives. A
Canadian high pressure system will settle over the area Sunday morning
then move east as a strong upper level trough of low pressure approaches
the Upper Texas coastal waters Monday and Tuesday.

South winds 5 to 10 knots. Bay waters smooth. Isolated showers.

Tonight
Southwest winds around 10 knots shifting to the north and increasing to
around 15 knots. Smooth Bay waters becoming choppy.

Thursday And Thursday Night
North around 15 knots. Bay waters choppy.

Friday And Saturday
North winds 15 to 20 knots...diminishing Saturday afternoon. Bay waters
choppy to rough.

Sunday
