THE CAPTAIN OF THE PORT HOUSTON-GALVESTON HAS SET PORT CONDITION RECOVERY FOR THE PORTS OF HOUSTON, GALVESTON, TEXAS CITY, FREEPORT AND CONNECTING WATERWAYS.  BASED ON CURRENT CHANNEL AND AIDS TO NAVIGATION SURVEYS, THE FOLLOWING RESTRICTIONS ARE DIRECTED:

NO SHIP TRANSITS AUTHORIZED ABOVE THE BAYTOWN HIGHLINES.

GALVESTON BAY ENTRANCE CHANNEL TO LIGHTED BUOY 18 NO RESTRICTIONS.

GALVESTON 37' 24/7.

TEXAS CITY 37' 24/7.

LIGHTED BUOY 18 TO BAYTOWN HIGHLINES 40' 24/7

BAYTOWN HIGHLINES TO I-610 BRIDGE OPEN TO TOWING VESSELS DAYLIGHT ONLY. 

GICW MM 350 TO FREEPORT NO RESTRICTIONS.

FREEPORT SHIPS- 38' DAYLIGHT TRANSITS ONLY.

VTS HOUSTON-GALVESTON WILL CONSIDER LIMITED HIGH PRIORITY MOVEMENTS ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS.
