Small craft should exercise caution.  Minor tidal overwash is possible at the lowest and most susceptible areas such as Highway 87 at Highway 124 along the Bolivar Peninsula near times of high tide today and tonight. Moderate to strong rip currents can be expected along the coast as well.   .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday   Tropical Storm Nate will be moving into the Gulf later tonight and Saturday. Though Nate is expected to track well east of our area, a longer period swell will likely move into the upper Texas coastal waters late Saturday night and Sunday. So...elevated water levels, surf, and rip current risk will persist through the weekend.   Small craft advisories might be needed beginning Monday night or Tuesday morning after a cold front moves through the area.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...   Spotter activation is not anticipated.   $$
