               -Houston Cement West to Sidney Sherman Bridge - maximum 36'

               -The Houston Ship channel above the Sidney Sherman Bridge is open daylight only to one-way traffic for all vessels as limited by 90' beam/33' draft with prior coordination

                between Houston Pilots Association and VTS Houston/Galveston, and 24/7 for single tows as coordinated with VTS and the diving supervisor on SW Shipyard drydock salvage project.

Effective October 24th, 2017

The dredging of the Houston Ship Channel between beacons 66 and 72 has been completed.  The 42’ restriction to Exxon has been lifted. The HSC is good for vessels with a draft fresh water of 45’ up to Exxon.  The HSC from Exxon to Shell still has a 41’ draft restriction.  The contract for this portion of the channel has been let and work should begin in the next few days.<span-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">

Barbours Cut channel has a 44’ restriction and the Bayport channel has a restriction of 42’ and greater is daylight restricted, two tractors Pilot’s discretion.<span-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">
