.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Winds will gradually veer to the southeast today and strengthen in

response to a developing coastal trough near the lower Texas coast.

This system will help to enhance the chances for showers  and

isolated thunderstorms the next few days. The return of onshore

winds will also bring increased moisture and warmer  temperatures

through the weekend. This pattern will be favorable for the

development for sea fog starting tonight and persisting  into Sunday

evening, when the next cold front is expected to push  off the

coast.
