.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

High pressure over East Texas will weaken and slide eastward with a

trough of lower pressure developing along the Coastal Bend today.

Northeasterly winds will become more easterly today in response to

these systems. Stronger winds well offshore will gradually weaken today.

The east and southeasterly flow Friday will bring back greater moisture

and by late Friday night the possibility of sea fog and showers.

A cold front should push through the area Saturday afternoon and

evening ending the fog threat and turning winds back to the north

and continuing through Monday.
