.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Isolated showers will move across the marine areas today with periods

of sea fog affecting the coastal waters beginning late this afternoon

or evening. Sea fog may be dense at times. A disturbance moving up

the Texas coast tonight will increase shower and thunderstorm coverage

off the coast on Saturday and may result in the development of a light

east to northeast flow along the coast. These winds and rain may result

in windows of improvement in the sea fog on Saturday before a cold front

moving off the coast by Saturday night ends the threat. Elevated offshore

flow behind the front may persist into late Monday or early Tuesday.
