.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Areas of fog sometimes dense over Galveston Bay and the eastern
nearshore waters, will continue until mid morning. Southwesterly
winds will gradually decrease while turning north and northeasterly
by the afternoon as a cold front pushes in from the north. Warm
moist air returns Monday night into Tuesday and rain chances and the
sea fog threat will increase.

The dredging of the Houston Ship Channel between beacons 66 and 72 has been completed. The 42’ restriction to Exxon has been lifted. The HSC is good for vessels with a draft fresh water of
45’ up to Exxon. The HSC from Exxon to Shell still has a 41’ draft restriction. The contract for this portion of the channel has been let and work should begin in the next few days.<span-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">
