nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda Bays

356 AM CST Tue Feb 6 2018

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Sea fog will likely persist through much of today into Tuesday

night. Dense sea fog will continue this morning with visibility

possibly improving in the mid afternoon today. The fog should

persist until a cold front moves through the area Wednesday

morning. Moderate to strong north winds and rough seas will

prevail in the wake of the front and a small craft advisory may be

needed Wednesday. Light to moderate east to southeast winds

return to the area at the end of the week and become south on

Saturday and Saturday night ahead of another cold front that is

currently expected to arrive Sunday or as late as Monday.
