.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Sea fog overnight should gradually shift eastward up the coast

throughout the night. Look for some improvement as heavier rain

and thunderstorms develop overnight. Potential for sea fog may

return as the heaviest storms wind down Saturday night until a

cold front pushes off the coast Sunday morning. Elevated offshore

winds and waves will be possible behind the cold front Sunday

afternoon into Monday.

.REST OF TONIGHT...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Bay waters

smooth. Areas of dense fog. Isolated thunderstorms late in the

evening. Showers. Thunderstorms after midnight. Some

thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall after midnight.

.SATURDAY...South winds 5 to 10 knots. Bay waters smooth. Areas

of dense fog early in the morning. Thunderstorms in the morning.

Showers. Thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Some

thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall in the morning.

.SATURDAY NIGHT...South winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southwest

after midnight. Bay waters smooth. Patchy fog. A chance of

showers and isolated thunderstorms.

.SUNDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north 15 to

20 knots in the afternoon. Bay waters slightly choppy becoming

choppy in the afternoon. A chance of showers.
