Synopsis For High Island To Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 Nm

Through the end of the week...onshore winds will increase and seas will build under a tightening pressure gradient in response to a developing storm system out west.

Advisory flags are possible as early as Thursday night. A long southeasterly fetch is expected to develop across the Gulf and expect elevated winds and seas to persist through the weekend.
