This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Southeast Texas..
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
There is a marginal risk of severe storms from Madisonville to
Crockett this evening. Storms may move into this area from central
Texas as a squall line. Hail and damaging winds will be the main
threats. There still will be a layer of warm air aloft that may
limit thunderstorm activity over the area.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday
Sunday...slight risk of severe storms over the Arklatex, marginal
risk of severe storms for Polk, Trinity and Houston Counties.
Again warm air aloft will limit thunderstorm activity over the
area with the higher chances of storms over far NE Texas. If
severe storms do form, hail and damaging winds will be the main
threats.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
