Unseasonably warm temperatures are expected again today. Because
of how early in the year this heat is occurring, residents are
urged to take precautions for heat illness. These include taking
frequent breaks if working outdoors, wearing lightweight and
loose-fitting clothing and drinking plenty of water.
A thunderstorm complex will develop over Central Texas this
afternoon and move into the region toward evening. The storms are
expected to weaken before reaching Houston later this evening but
if the line holds together, a few of the stronger storms could
produce gusty winds and small hail.

The warmer than normal afternoon temperatures are expected
