The remnants of Beryl are producing gusty winds and areas of heavy <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">rain over portions of central and eastern Hispaniola, and the <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">adjacent Atlantic and Caribbean waters.  This system is expected to <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">move west-northwestward across the rest of Hispaniola today and over <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">the southeastern Bahamas this evening.  Little development is <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">expected during the next day or so due to land interaction and <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">unfavorable upper-level winds.  The disturbance is forecast to turn <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">northward over the western Atlantic on Wednesday where upper-level <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">winds could become a little more conducive for the regeneration of a <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">tropical cyclone later this week.  Regardless of development, <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">locally heavy rains and gusty winds are likely over portions of <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">Hispaniola and the Bahamas as the remnants of Beryl move through <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">those areas.  Additional information on this system can be found in <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">High Seas Forecasts issued by the National Weather Service. <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent. <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...50 percent. <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">  <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">High Seas Forecasts issued by the National Weather Service can be <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">found under AWIPS header NFDHSFAT1, WMO header FZNT01 KWBC, and <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">on the Web at http://ocean.weather.gov/shtml/NFDHSFAT1.shtml. <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">  <span-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">Forecaster Stewart
