Due to shoaling in the Bolivar Roads area of the Houston Ship Channel the Houston Pilots are limiting the maximum allowable freshwater draft to 44 feet.<span-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">

If you already have a vessel bound for Houston with over 44 feet we will accommodate the arrival with a suitable tide level of at least +1 on the tide gauge.  Please let me know as far in advance for any over 44’ arrivals.<span-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">
