<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on recently

<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">upgraded Tropical Storm Florence, located about a couple of hundred

<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">miles west of the Cabo Verde Islands.

<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black"> 

<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">1. A tropical wave interacting with an upper-level trough is producing

<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">numerous showers and thunderstorms from Hispaniola northward across

<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">the Turks and Caicos Islands.  This activity is forecast to spread

<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">west-northwestward, enhancing rainfall across Hispaniola, the Turks

<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">and Caicos Islands, the Bahamas this weekend, and across Florida

<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">and the northern Gulf of Mexico coast by early next week. Strong

<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">upper-level winds will likely prevent significant development of

<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">this system during the next couple of days, but environmental

<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">conditions are expected to become a little more favorable for a

<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">surface low pressure area to form when the disturbance moves across

<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">the Gulf of Mexico during the early to middle part of next week.
