<span-family:"Courier New";color:black">Onshore winds will increase today and persist through Friday.

<span-family:"Courier New";color:black">A warmer airmass will overspread cooler nearshore water and

<span-family:"Courier New";color:black">provide a chance for some patchy sea fog development. That

<span-family:"Courier New";color:black">potential will exist from late tonight through Saturday morning

<span-family:"Courier New";color:black">until a weak frontal boundary briefly slides off the coast.

<span-family:"Courier New";color:black">A stronger front is expected early next week.

A reminder as we enter Fall 2018, strong cold fronts as they arrive the Texas Gulf Coast will generally push out 1 – 3 feet of water out of Galveston Bay.  Maximum deep draft vessels cold be delayed transiting the Houston Ship Channel until the cold front and high pressure move off the coast and water moves back into the bay.
