.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Moderate southerly winds and elevated seas will persist today. A
warmer airmass is in the process of overspreading cooler
nearshore waters and could initiate some patchy sea fog
development at times through Saturday morning. A weak frontal
boundary is expected to briefly move off the coast Saturday
morning then dissipate. A stronger front is expected Monday.

deep draft vessels cold be delayed transiting the Houston Ship Channel until the cold front and high pressure move off the coast and water moves back into the bay.
