<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:red;font-weight:normal">A potent storm complex will move through Southeast Texas tonight and early Friday. Westerly winds will ramp up overnight in the wake of a cold front and strengthen
further early Friday.
<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:red;font-weight:normal">Wind advisory and Gale Warnings and Low Water Advisories are in effect.

<span-size:9.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Winds overnight will gradually increase becoming gusty with the area across the southwestern areas experiencing the strongest winds. Winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 35 mph will be likely.
Some areas near the Matagorda Bay area could see sustained winds of 30 to 35 mph with gusts of 45 to 50 mph.

<span-size:9.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Marine conditions will rapidly deteriorate overnight with Gale Conditions developing. Winds of 30 to 40 knot with gusts of 40 to 50 knots will likely occur after midnight through noon on Friday.
<span-size:9.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">
<span-size:9.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Low water conditions with these strong winds for Matagorda and Galveston Bay. Tides of 1 to 1.5 below normal will be likely and could lead to difficult navigation due to strong currents and low
tide levels and grounding hazards.
