Houston, Galveston, Texas City, & Freeport, TX - Daily Port Update

NOAA

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Sea fog restricting visibility to under a mile will be the main

marine hazard going into early next week. Southeasterly winds will

push more Gulf moisture over cooler shelf waters. This will assist

in the creation of more widespread dense fog through Monday. Sea

fog may persist through the middle of the week. Stronger onshore

winds ahead of an approaching late week cold front may aid in

mixing out the fog.
