Synopsis for High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel out 60
nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda Bays
335 AM CST Tue Feb 5 2019
.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Warm and moist air flowing over the cooler shelf waters will
produce periods of dense sea fog through Wednesday. Slightly
stronger winds Wednesday and Thursday may bring periods of
slightly better visibilities, but probably will not eliminate the
fog threat. A cold front will push through the region Thursday
night and bring an end to the fog. Small craft advisories will be
required for strong offshore winds and rough seas behind the
front.
