Synopsis for High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel out 60

nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda Bays

351 AM CST Wed Feb 6 2019

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Warm and moist air flowing over the cooler shelf waters of the Gulf

of Mexico will produce periods of dense sea fog into Thursday.

Slightly stronger winds may bring periods of slightly better

visibilities, but probably will not completely eliminate the fog

threat. A cold front will push through the region Thursday

afternoon and bring an end to the fog. Small craft advisories

will be required for strong offshore winds and rough seas behind

the front.
